So you think you want to know a little more about us, huh?
Well, who could  blame you?
Just don't say we didn't warn you...
Well, it all started way back in 1995 with a stop motion video short featuring a couple of action figures and a simple video camcorder.  This video has since been lost and forgotten, but it was the start of what would become iDEALinPAIN productions.

Scott Payne created iDEALinPAIN as a creative outlet to express his interest in video and internet production.  The alias became his moniker for everything he had his hands in, from E-mail accounts to artistic memberships.  Almost all of his productions and creations were listed under the iDEALinPAIN label until fate would alter his course.

For many years, Scott Payne used simple web cams and digital cameras to explore the possibilities of film making.  Countless hours were spent experimenting with various in-camera effects.  Lacking the tools to edit video left him to continually seek perfection with single take short videos.  While it was very tiring, this process proved to be very educational.  The trial and error process proved to be the ideal teacher of lessons that would not quickly be forgotten.

Many of these early works existed only on a single lap-top computer that died an untimely death.  Because this was before the creation of video sharing websites and external hard drives, these works are lost forever.

An enlistment in the United States Marine Corps landed Mr. Payne in a tour of Iraq during Operation Iraq Freedom.  It was while in Iraq that a close friend introduced Scott to the art of video editing.  A whole new world was open to Scott and he instantly began to push his editing software to the limits while exploring the endless possibilities of new special effects.

Scott Payne created several videos that embodied the subject of his deployment under the iDEALinPAIN label.  Once returning home he realized that he truly enjoyed the craft of video making and editing, and with the help of his friends and family, developed LifesEyesFilms.

LifesEyesFilms continues to develop a variety of video shorts in many different genres,  as well as producing a multitude of series including:
  • "How To, In About Five Minutes";  This series promotes unsigned musical artists providing the sound track for time lapse video of various home improvement and lawn and garden projects.
  • "Villain's Day Off"; This is a comedy series that pits two evil roommates against one another while instant karma gets the best of each of them.
  • "So There Was This..."  Is a series of some of our favorite jokes narrated and animated by Scott himself.
  • "Breaking News";  In this series, LifesEyesFilms parodies real life headlines and the entire news media.
  • "Voice of a Marine Diary";  (Comming Soon!)   A real life look at a Marine's diary from boot camp all the way through a deployment to Iraq.  This spoken word series is dirty, raw, and on-going.
